Hosted by Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission at James Island, the Holiday Festival of Lights has become a holiday favorite to locals and tourists alike. The Holiday Festival of Lights is a three-mile driving tour featuring an estimated two million shimmering lights and a dazzling array of holiday designs.
The Holiday Festival of Lights is more than just a driving tour of James Island though. Visitors are encouraged to park their cars and experience an assortment of family fun activities. Past attractions have included Santa’s Sweet Shoppe, festival train rides, and an old-fashioned Victorian carousel. The festival is open every evening, rain or shine!
The 33rd Annual Holiday Festival of Lights will be running November 11 to December 31, 2022. Open nightly from 5:30 to 10 PM.
