Kenny Chesney is coming to Daniel Island! Chesney is headed to the Lowcountry as part of his 2019 “Songs for the Saints” tour. This mini-tour will only hit 19 cities including stops in Charleston, Wichita, Oklahoma City, Des Moines, and more.
The concert will be taking place at the Volvo Car Stadium on April 25, and fellow country singer David Lee Murphy will be joining Chesney in Charleston. The Volvo Car Stadium is smaller, more intimate venue (with limited seating) than most concert venues Chesney has performed in before.
The ideal behind this mini-tour was to perform in smaller rooms, and go to where the fans live.
