RBC Heritage Golf Tournament

The RBC Heritage is a PGA Tour event in South Carolina that was founded in 1969 and runs annually in mid-April. Arnold Palmer won the first year, and he maintains the record of highest score at 283. A number of the past champions have been inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. The RBC Heritage Golf Tournament raises money for a wide variety of charities, universities and medical institutions, and has raised over $35 million since its inception. This tournament is one of only five that the PGA Tour gave “invitational” status, and only has 132 players. Despite the reduced field, over the tournament has over 130,000 fans, so it is sure to be an exciting event!

If you’re spectating the event, there are numerous outstanding concession stands located throughout the course and grounds. There is a First Aid Station near the 15th green as well as a Lost and Found located in the Ticket Trailer in the parking lot. Further information can be found on the RBC Heritage Golf Tournament site.
