The Taste of Charleston Festival celebrates the best food that Charleston has to offer. It’s one of the region’s biggest food events and has been hailed by the Southeast Tourism Society as one of the “top 20 events in the Southeast.” Past events at the Taste of Charleston include the Waiters Race, Kids Kitchen Sideshow, the best local food and drink, specialty and imported beer tasting tent, cooking demos, and food truck rodeo.
The Charleston Restaurant Foundation (CRF) has announce the return of Taste of Charleston, taking place at Riverfront Park on Sunday, October 13. The 2019 Taste of Charleston is inspired by other successful “Taste” events like those in Chicago, Atlanta and Portland.
To kick off the festivities, the CRF is hosting a Taste of Charleston Ticket Launch Party on Thursday, June 6, from 6-9 PM at the Cooper River Room. The Launch party will featuring live music from the Battery Brass Band, food and beverages from Queen Street Catering, Roti Rolls and Rebel Taqueria, axe throwing with Blade & Bull, and, of course, Taste of Charleston ticket discounts, ticket giveaways and more.
General Admission for the 2019 Taste of Charleston is $20/person, and includes $10 in pre-loaded points (to be redeemed on food and beverages at the festival). VIP tickets are $125/person, which includes $25 in pre-loaded points. Tickets for the event are available for purchase beginning June 6.
