It is time again to roll out en masse for the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition 2019! For those of you who do not know, the SEWE is an annual event geared to celebrate a menagerie of artists, wildlife, and performers. You may even be asking yourself how you can take part in the festivities, either as a spectator or a contributor. GCT makes it easy to find out more about SEWE 2019 or book a ride to the expo yourself.

You can purchase tickets to the exposition by visiting the official SEWE website or on site once you arrive at the location. Several of the planned events will require tickets to attend. Both group and individual rates are available for every day of the exposition, and event transportation can be arranged as well with GCT.

The Southeastern Wildlife Exposition 2019 will span five fun filled days. Opening day is Wednesday, February 13th at the Gibbes Museum of Art from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and the fun begins! The festivities go on until Sunday, February 17th, with most of the activities being held from Friday to Sunday. Many of Friday’s exhibits open at 9 a.m., while some exhibits on Saturday will open as early as 8:30 a.m.! The list of the various activities is extensive, encompassing far too many to list here, however, you will find competitions, demonstrations, and many tasty exhibits, just to name a few. There will be plenty of great and unique items to buy from numerous vendors, including souvenirs, clothing, cook books and so much more! You can even enter a raffle for a chance to win a brand new, 2019 Scout Boat!

The exhibits will close for the day at 6p.m. On Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th, and will close completely at 5 p.m. On Sunday the 17th. The exhibits will be in multiple locations, such as Charleston Place, John’s Island County Park, Gaillard Center, and Brittlebank Park to name a few. There are 20 locations in all! It is important to plan for your event transportation and accommodations in advance. There will be many events for all ages and, of course, all children must be accompanied at all times by an adult. Both kids and adults will love the “Animals In Winter” show at the Otranto Regional Library, the “Wild About Books” puppet show at the Main Library, and the “Fashion For Feathers” entertainment put on by the Audubon South Carolina at the Hotel Bennett, as well as the many other planned entertainments.

Whether you are a regular patron of the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, for 2019 and previous years, or if this will be the first time you experience this wonderful collection of events, you are sure to make memories that will last a lifetime. Visit SEWE’s website for a full schedule and complete list of events, ticket prices, and locations. Having a schedule with times and locations will be essential for planning your itinerary and event transportation to make the most of your available time.
