Holiday Festival of Lights – November 11 to December 31

Nothing marks the holiday season in Charleston like the annual Holiday Festival of Lights. Located on James Island County Park, the festival is a light show that features two million lights throughout the park and Cooper River Bridge. This driving tour also features family friendly activities like train rides, carousel, roasting marshmallows, and Santa’s Sweet Shoppe.

Holiday Parade – December 4

Charleston kicks off the Christmas season with a parade starting at Broad Street. Parade participants include musicians and organizations with a tree lighting to follow at Marion Square.
