Spring is well under way, and one of the season’s best holidays is fast approaching. Have you made your plans yet for Mother’s Day on May 13th? If not, luckily for you GCT has made a short guide for the best way to spend the day in Charleston.
First, start the day off right with a Mother’s Day brunch. If you are planning on skipping breakfast in bed, there are many restaurants hosting specials for the day at all price points. Check in with your local favorite spot to see what they’re offering, or step out of your comfort zone and try one of Charleston’s many fine dining establishments that you haven’t visited yet.
If the weather is nice and you’re looking for a nice way to spend the day, consider taking a walk through the park with your loved ones. Waterfront Park, James Island County Park, and Hampton Park are all beautiful options for taking a stroll. Many of the local parks also have playgrounds, so family members of all ages are sure to enjoy the day in the sun.
If parks aren’t your thing, many of the local beaches will also be perfect for a Mother’s day stroll. Folly Beach and Sullivan’s Island are especially lovely.
On Mother’s Day, it really doesn’t matter what you do, but who you’re with. Concentrate on spending time with your loved ones, and leave the planning to us! We’re happy to take care of all your transportation needs.
